Yoga Nidra For the Winter Solstice

TEACHER: HEATHER LOCKLEAR
IN PERSON ONLY
COST: $18

Allow yourself to let go of the daily hustle and immerse into a state of deep rest as we enter into the winter solstice.

Yoga Nidra, often referred to as "yogic sleep," is designed to help you release tension, reduce stress, and promote profound mental and emotional balance. Through gentle body scanning and guided visualization, you'll tap into your body's innate capacity to heal and restore itself, leaving you feeling refreshed and energized.  Treat yourself to this hour of tranquility and leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to embrace life with a sense of calm and clarity.

This class is suitable for all levels.  Please note, we will be lying down for this practice, but no stretches or yoga postures will be involved.

Heather Locklear has been practicing yoga since 2000. Her first class was through her college where she quickly became fascinated with all the components of yoga, (particularly Ayurveda and self-study), and it has been her life’s work to share this passion with others. Over the past two decades she has practiced with many different teachers, mostly through Heartsong Yoga Center and Kripalu Yoga Center, and she loves incorporating what she learns into her teaching.

Heather is a 200-hour graduate of Hard & Soft Yoga, Heart of Heartsong, Power of Flow Integrative Yoga Teacher Training with Sheila Magalhaes at Heartsong Yoga.
