You will be accepted for exactly who you are.

Serenity Yoga is a peaceful and compassionate environment that supports the health and wellness of our community. Our yoga classes are accessible to people of all levels, and we strive to create a nonjudgmental atmosphere where you'll feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door.

We are not interested in folding you into a pretzel and we don't promote a celebrity ideal of what yoga should be.  We make it comfortable for a teenager and a retiree to practice next to each other. You are allowed to explore and grow your practice here.  We want you to do what feels good, to not compare yourself with others and to let go of expectations.

You'll find we don't take ourselves too seriously.  We are real people doing real yoga with our real bodies and then going about our day with a renewed sense of calm.

“I think almost anyone would benefit from taking classes at Serenity. Yoga is a wonderful way to find relief from physical ailments but also a great way to reduce stress.  It is a small and friendly community where new students are always welcome, and there is such a wide variety of classes, workshops, and teaching styles that there is something for everyone.” ~ Beth

“Joining this studio became a retirement gift to myself!  My goal was to attempt to keep myself active and able to keep up with busy grandchildren. Now, as I look back I can see how much more I have gained through my practice here at Serenity.  A special benefit has been the people. The classes are full of such interesting people of all ages and different walks of life.  We all come together with a common goal, to practice yoga and at our own level.  I would encourage anyone to come to Serenity and experience yoga. It’s good for the body and great for the soul!” ~ Maureen
