Starting Tuesday, March 4th Linda will be teaching Yoga for "Seasoned" Bodies and Inquiring Minds
We are extremely excited to welcome Linda back to the Serenity schedule!
Please join her Tuesdays from 10:30am-11:30am starting March 4th for a gentle, modified, chair supported practice designed for those individuals starting or renewing a yoga practice, or dealing with physical limitations and conditions, in a non-judgmental class setting.
A desire to appreciate all your body does for you and a mat is all that is needed!

Starting Tuesday, March 4th join Sonia from 9:00-10:15am for Blissed Out Vinyasa!
This class is a Tuesday pick-me-up with an energetic and invigorating vinyasa flow followed by a portion of relaxing restorative yoga. For students who are curious about vinyasa practice and about the "blissful" benefits of restorative yoga, this class offers a taste of both. Blissed Out Vinyasa is open to all levels of yoga practitioner.
Starting Thursday, March 6th join Sonia from 9:00-10:15am for Gentle Kripalu Yoga!
This class invites students to practice body awareness through a series of stretches, postures, and moments of relaxation. With emphasis on joint health, breath work, and the Kripalu philosophies of well-being, Gentle Kripalu Yoga is a great place to experience your yoga practice at a meditative pace. This class is open to all levels of yoga practitioner.

Starting Friday, March 7th, Sonia's Restorative class will have a new start time of 5:45pm!
Restorative yoga is practiced on a mat while props support the body so that the muscles can release into the "sweet spots" that emerge when holding a stretch or a posture for a sustained period of time.

Our first Wednesday night 10-week series class ends
March 12th! Drop-ins welcome!
Join Ruby on Wednesday night March 5th and 12th from 5:45-7:00pm to wrap up her 10-week series class on backbends.
This class is a fun vinyasa flow class with a focus on preparing for back bends. We'll warm up and work on opening hips, quadriceps, and shoulders and then slow it down to spend some time working on back bends in more detail, with a nice cool down before savasana. A great class both for newer students and those with a regular practice — modifications will be provided for everyone to work at his/her own level.
Regular class rates apply. Drop-ins are welcome. Class runs from January 8-March 12.
Next Wednesday night 10-week series class - Finding your Inner Goddess! Starts March 19th - Drop-ins welcome!
Join Sonia on Wednesday nights starting March 19th from 5:45-7:00pm for a 10-week series class on finding your inner goddess.
The aim of the Finding Your Inner Goddess series is to empower women through yoga, movement, music, and creative expression while finding inspiration in the qualities of goddesses from around the world. With each week focusing on a different goddess figure and Her unique wisdoms, students have the opportunity to look inward as they examine their own journeys, dreams, and ambitions. Students are welcome to bring a journal with them to class as we will be doing some free writing. This series is open to all levels of yoga practitioner.
Regular class rates apply. Drop-ins are welcome. Class runs from March 19-May 21.
Yoga Reaches Out - New England Yogathon April 27th!
This year Serenity Yoga will be hosting a team at the "Yoga Reaches Out - New England Yogathon" on Sunday, April 27th at Gillette Stadium's Field House. We will be joining hundreds of yogis to raise funds for Boston Children's Hospital's Heart Center and Citizen Schools.

Prenatal Yoga Sundays 9:00-10:00am
Slight change in pre-class requirements!
The health form is no longer required to be signed by your obstetrician before your first yoga class.
Simply print and complete the health form before your first class. This form will eventually need to be signed by your obstetrical care provider, but feel free to come to class until you are able to make an appointment.
Embodyoga for prenatal practice incorporates the principles of hatha yoga with appropriate modifications for natural changes that occur with pregnancy. The class also teaches breathing techniques and guided meditation to promote relaxation and encourage connection between mind and body in preparation for labor.
Thank you for your interest in practicing yoga and understanding our goals to promote a safe and holistic experience for all women.
Moms-to-be and Moms with babies up to 6 months are encouraged to attend class. Drop-in rate is $16/class.

An energetic, fast-paced vinyasa flow class set to awesome music. This class is designed to challenge all levels, with flowing sequences and variations offered to suit new as well as more experienced students. We'll build strength, flexibility, and awareness, and have a super fun time!

Beyond Asana Discussion with Lora!
We continue our exploration into the principles and philosophy of yoga, beyond the poses. There is no experience necessary, and no need to agree or believe any of the ideas or concepts we might explore. You do not have to have attended any of the previous sessions. This is simply an open discussion for people who are interested in going deeper and learning more about yoga, it's history, and how it relates to our lives off the mat. Lora and I are as much students of this as anyone else.

Monthly Yin Yoga Workshop!
Please join us Sunday, March 30th from 2:00-4:00pm for our next Yin Yoga monthly workshop.
Through a Yin yoga practice we will release toxins, muscle soreness, and restore overall vitality. Poses are held in a supported way for several minutes to soften tissue and open up energetic channels through the body.

As we continue to embrace this crazy winter season, classes may be canceled due to bad weather. We will cancel class at least an hour before it's scheduled start time.
Please be sure to check here on our website our Facebook page for all the latest, up to the minute class cancelations.
And if class is canceled, you can always try a snowman headstand!
