Serenity Yoga is conveniently located at 15 College Street in South Hadley, MA across from Mount Holyoke College.  Nestled in the heart of the Village Commons, the studio is a peaceful, cozy environment where the focus is on accessible classes, skilled teachers and the health and wellness of the community.  Serenity Yoga offers a variety of ongoing classes that include gentle and beginner yoga, moderate yoga and advanced vinyasa yoga. Yoga & Mind Body Care for the Shoulders! Saturday, November 1st at 12:30pm!shoulders

If you have ever had shoulder pain or injury, or if you notice strain or fatigue in your shoulders during your yoga practice or in daily life, this workshop is designed to give you the information you need to use your shoulders safely. Whether you are new to yoga, or have a regular practice, this workshop is for you! Learn why the shoulder is prone to so many injuries, and what you can do to help prevent this. Shoulder openers and stability work will be incorporated into the workshop, as well as hands on exploration and practical uses for the information in yoga practice and in daily life.

Cost: $30/workshop or register for 2 or more and the cost is $25/workshop!

New Shake Your Soul Yoga Dance Class on Wednesday Nights Starting October 29th!Yoga Dance

Please join Shelly Gottsegen on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30pm for Shake Your Soul Yoga Dance, starting October 29th!

Shake Your Soul Yoga Dance class begins with a gentle flow of yoga poses to energize the body and to calm the mind. We then follow with movements that are set to different tempos in order to stimulate and connect us with the natural rhythm and flow of our bodies. Our bodies are made up of various fluids and each fluid has a different rhythm.The music played energizes and allows for the experience of creativity and joy through the rhythm. The dance movements are easy to follow and come from the dance traditions of Modern, African, Ballet and Creative Expression. You will stretch, strengthen and sweat! This class is a spirit and body work out that will relieve tension and make you smile. If you love to move to music, this class is for you!

New All Levels Yoga Class on Monday Nights!Lindsay

We are SO EXCITED that Lindsay DuBois is back at Serenity teaching full-time!

Please join Lindsay on Mondays from 7:00-8:15pm for an All Levels Yoga Class!

This class will provide a focus on mind body centering with various pose modifications to accommodate all learners. All levels welcome including pregnant and postpartum women!

Welcome Julia Ginsburg!Julia

Please join me in welcoming Julia Ginsburg to the Serenity teaching community!

Julia is currently a Psychology major at UMass Amherst; her goal is to own her own yoga studio. She took her teacher training at Prana Power Yoga in Cambridge, MA in 2012. It was her goal to become a certified teacher before she graduated from high school, so she got her 200 hour vinyasa certification when she was 17. Some of her hobbies include cooking, baking, reading, biking, and yoga of course (which is more of a lifestyle to her). Yoga is her main passion and she likes to devote much of her time when she isn't studying or in class to deepening her yoga practice.

Julia is now teaching the Monday night 5:30-6:45pm Beginner Class!

Serenity Yoga Presents Yoga & Mind Body Care - a workshop series with Molly Stamell!Molly

These workshops will explore therapeutic approaches to directing force through the body. Participants will gain a better understanding of the integration of core through developmental movement patterns and holistic practice. Workshops are appropriate for those suffering from pain, chronic or new injuries, as well as beginning to advanced level students who are pain free.

All Workshops to be held on Saturdays from 12:30 - 2:30pm
