Feeling stress and anxiety is so much part of our daily lives that we almost forget how limiting it can be. When we worry about the future, or ruminate over the past, we can be left feeling powerless and overwhelmed.  

Although we can’t control external circumstances, we can use meditation techniques to control our reaction to stress and anxiety in order to better manage our relationship with it.

In this series, you'll:

-Learn how stress and anxiety works and how to transform your relationship to it, giving you the clarity you need to better manage it all on your own.  

-Learn the goal of meditation (it might not be what you think!) and how to sit properly for meditation (on the floor or in a chair)

-Be introduced to the basics of various meditation techniques

-Be guided through specific meditations designed to calm your body and focus your attention so you can reduce your stress level and improve your overall well-being.

Learn how to create a deep state of relaxation and a calmer mind through the practice of meditation.  You will walk away with the tools you need to build your own at-home practice, which you can carry with you for a lifetime!

This class is perfect for students new to meditation or for students who would like to refresh their practice.
