As many of us native New Englanders know, winter can be a difficult season for many people. With a lot less light, warmth and activity, winter can be a time of isolation and illness. Ayurveda offers us an opportunity to not just survive winter but to thrive throughout this time of year.
During this workshop we will look at what Ayurveda has to say about living in harmony with the seasons. Taylor will offer insight into ways to live and eat in more seasonal alignment which will help balance the qualities of winter. She will provide a number of hand outs, including winter recipes, shopping lists and daily routine suggestions. In addition, we will practice a balancing yoga asana sequence to open and warm our bodies.
