Teacher: Tara Emery Gagnon
Racing around and sitting all day are two ways in which we unsettle our bodies and minds. One of the consequences is that we start reacting, instead of responding, to ourselves and others. This class is an answer to that problem! It starts with a series of standing poses and ends with several resting ones. This combination soothes our rattled nervous system and restores our energy and vitality.
Tara Emery Gagnon is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor with a special interest in Restorative Yoga. She has taught classes to children as young as two years old and as old as twelve. She has also taught classes to adults and especially enjoyed her time teaching the faculty at Smith College in Northampton, MA. Most recently, she has studied Restorative Yoga with Jillian Pransky at Kripalu in Stockbridge, MA.
