Intro to Vinyasa - 6-Week Series

You’ve heard of Vinyasa Yoga but either you’re not sure what it is or it sounds too hard and scary for you. Or, maybe you already have a vinyasa practice but it feels shaky as you move through the transitions. If you are interested in exploring or enhancing this practice, then this 4-week series is for you!
Vinyasa is a yoga practice that coordinates movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. This style keeps you moving from pose to pose, linking each posture to an inhale and an exhale. The flow of movement is smooth and continuous, which can help you stay in the present moment.
In this series, we will breakdown poses and their modifications so that the flow of vinyasa can be assessable to everyone.
In this course you will:
Develop an understanding of Vinyasa Yoga
Explore Sun Salutations including poses: high plank, low plank, upward dog and downward dog
Learn proper alignment as well as work on transitions from pose to pose
Explore stepping forward into warrior poses
Increase your strength and flexibility
Feel safe to ask questions
Gain confidence in your abilities
This series will be fun and safe for all levels! Don’t let self doubt or fear keep you from empowering the explorer within you!
