chair yoga

Struggle with mobility, have a disability, beginner, can not get on the floor due to physical limitations/conditions

The chair replaces the mat and becomes an extension of your body allowing you to take full advantage of yoga’s amazing fitness and health potential, including:

AYURYOGA

A class that integrates the principles of Ayurveda, a sister science to Yoga. Ayurveda teaches us how to live in harmony with nature, and when we apply these guidelines to our practice, the medicinal benefits of Yoga are maximized.

Expect a more invigorating practice in springtime, a cooling/yin-yoga inspired practice in summer, and a warming yet relaxing practice during fall and most of winter. No prior knowledge of Ayurveda or Yoga are necessary.

Embodyoga

A deep dive into the physical embodiment of body and mind. This approach to yoga postures, breath work and meditation is guided from the inside out. Instruction brings your awareness into your body, rather than inviting you to picture what your body looks like from the outside. Movements are directed from inner structures and systems (organs, bones, fascia, glands, and more).

Yin/Restorative Yoga

A slow, meditative class designed to help improve range of motion and rejuvenate the connective tissues in the body. Low impact postures held for a long period of time (with the use of props as needed to accommodate all levels of practice).

Stretch, Soothe & Restore

A class that slows down the mind and body at a gradual pace in order to shift from stress to relaxation. Breath work and stretching are followed by several standing poses; ending class with a series of restorative postures.
